First, you can provide us with some basic information about your item(s), such as the type of jewelry, diamond or gemstone quality, and any relevant certifications. Upon an initial assessment, providing the item meets FCD Exchanges’ listing criteria, we will offer a current, realistic market value for your consideration, upon which you can base your decision on listing to buy/sell/trade.

To list your diamonds, jewellery, gemstones online with The Exchange, you will need to provide a diamond grading report or certificate from a reputable laboratory such as GIA or AGS. This report should include the 4 Cs of your diamond, i.e., carat weight, cut, color, and clarity, as well as other information such as the items fluorescence, polish, and symmetry. Most appraisals are issued for insurance replacement purposes. The amount on the appraisal is to ensure you that if your item is lost or stolen it can be replaced with equal quality. Your appraisal must account for currency fluctuations. (Diamonds are bought in and sold in U.S. dollars on the world market) and changing  prices. The Exchange offers a free up to date, no obligation current market analysis. 

Yes, we certainly understand and appreciate the hesitancy at times to actually part with your items. Should you have acceptable, up to date certificate(s)-report(s), along with HD photographs or images, arrangements can be made to list your item(s) digitally without having to ship them initially.
